Baja Biodiversity Weekend 2023

January 19-21, 2023

Join the San Diego Natural History Museum and Rancho Las Cruces for a weekend of Baja Biodiversity. Museum President and CEO, Judy Gradwohl will be joined by Curator of Botany, Jon Rebman, Curator of Herpetology Brad Hollingsworth, and Mammalogist Scott Tremor at Rancho Las Cruces from January 19-21, 2023. We’ll spend our days hiking, talking natural history, and eating good food. Of course, you’ll have plenty of free time too.

Each morning we’ll head out for a hike to explore the amazing flora and fauna of the area, and in the afternoons you are welcome to hike on your own, go snorkeling or swimming in the Sea of Cortés, or simply relax and enjoy the spectacular view. During the evening cocktail hour, curators will give informal presentations about the regional natural history.
